Route 724 Bridge Reopening
The Route 724 bridge over Allegheny Creek in Robeson Township officially reopened Thursday morning following a six-month, $2.8 million replacement project. State Rep. Mark Gillen joined township officials, PennDOT representatives, construction workers, and community members for a brief ceremony celebrating the completion of the new bridge. The project replaces a structure built in 1956 and restores a key connection for thousands of motorists who have navigated detours since April.
