A fallen tree on the railroad tracks stopped a freight train, forcing all railroad crossings in Fleetwood to close. Flooding and widespread debris have impacted several roadways. Police are reminding the public that parking restrictions will begin at 7:00 AM in the festival area. Temporary “No Parking” signs have been posted 24 to 48 hours in advance. Vehicles parked in restricted areas after 7:00 AM will be subject to ticketing and towing. The annual Art on the Avenue festival will take place this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The event will be held along Penn Avenue from 4th to 8th Avenues, including the 00 blocks of North and South 6th and 7th Avenues, as well as Tulpehocken Avenue from Penn Avenue to Court Street.
