Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary announced plans Thursday for a new $13 million visitor center in Albany Township. The facility will be 31% larger than the existing building, featuring improved accessibility, new exhibits, and expanded educational spaces. Demolition is expected to begin in spring 2027, with the new center scheduled to open in fall 2028. The sanctuary will remain open throughout construction.
