United Way Big Cheese
More than 500 volunteers came together Friday night at Penn State Berks for the 10th annual United Way Big Cheese event, packing 250,000 meals for Berks County families facing food insecurity. The meals, including mac and cheese and apple cinnamon oatmeal, will be distributed through Helping Harvest and the Reading School District to support local children and families in need.
