2026 FIFA World Cup Fan Zones
Pennsylvania is bringing the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup beyond Philadelphia and Reading is one of the cities getting in on the action. Governor Josh Shapiro visited the DoubleTree in Reading Thursday morning to announce that free World Cup Fan Zones will be held in Reading, along with Scranton and Pittsburgh, giving fans across the state a chance to watch matches and take part in events throughout the tournament. In Reading, the Fan Zone will take place at Santander Arena with large-screen match broadcasts, live entertainment, and interactive experiences. A block party on Penn Street will also feature food, vendors, and family-friendly activities. Details for the events are still being planned.
