Pastor Rashion Santiago’s journey has come full circle
Raised in Reading, she grew up experiencing the power of community firsthand in neighborhoods like Glenside, where neighbors supported one another and faith was lived beyond the walls of a church. Now, after years of ministry and leadership, she has returned home with a new vision. Santiago is helping introduce an “inside out” approach to church—focused on meeting people where they are, building relationships, and strengthening community connections rather than relying solely on traditional worship settings. Through her work in Reading, she hopes to create a more inclusive, community-driven model of faith that reflects the needs and realities of today.
