Protest in Reading
A vigil held Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Penn Street in Reading later led to an impromptu march to the Berks County Courthouse. Organized by Make the Road Pennsylvania, community members gathered near the Reading sign to honor the life of Renee Good. Participants held signs and listened to remarks before walking together through the city. State Sen. Judy Schwank and Reading City Council District 2 Councilman Jaime Baez attended the event and addressed the crowd.
