New supermarket opens in Reading to expand access to fresh, affordable food
A new full-service supermarket has opened in Reading. Super Natural & Fresh Produce III, located at 243 N. 4th Street, will provide fresh and affordable groceries while creating more than 150 jobs. The $19 million project, led by longtime grocer Leopoldo Sanchez, includes a cafe, wholesale warehouse, and plans for a tortilla manufacturing facility. Owner Leopoldo Sanchez calls it “a celebration of community, health, and hard work.”
