Community weighs in at City Park
About three dozen people — including city officials, community leaders and local residents — turned out Tuesday evening to learn about Reading’s proposed public ice-skating rink. Mayor Eddie Morán and project leaders outlined plans for a seasonal rink and multipurpose pad, while residents shared a mix of support and concerns about cost, location, parking, and preserving green space.
