WWII Parade Rolls Into Downtown Reading
Downtown Reading was filled with history earlier today as the WWII convoy rolled down Penn Street for the 31st Annual Mid-Day Parade. From vintage military vehicles to re-enactors in period uniforms, the event brought a powerful tribute to the Greatest Generation right to the heart of the city. Crowds gathered to take in the sights, snap photos, and celebrate the start of WWII Weekend, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum at the Reading Regional Airport.
