The Boyertown Area Historical Society and Fairview Cemetery Association will host a special walking tour of Fairview Cemetery on Sunday, November 1, offering visitors an opportunity to learn about the lives and legacies of individuals who helped shape the Boyertown community.

The event, titled “Souls Aglow at Fairview,” will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in observance of All Souls’ Day.

During the tour, participants will explore the historic cemetery grounds while hearing stories about people buried there. Organizers said the event is designed to connect residents with local history through storytelling and remembrance, highlighting the individuals and families whose contributions remain part of the community’s heritage.

The event is open to history enthusiasts, longtime residents and anyone interested in learning more about Boyertown’s past.

Tickets cost $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the event, with cash required for day-of purchases. Advance tickets are available through the Boyertown Area Historical Society’s website, the Grill Shop and the Peppermint Stick Candy Store.

Parking will be available at Morrell’s Funeral Home and the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.

The Boyertown Area Historical Society works to preserve and share the region’s history through collections, educational programs and community events. The walking tour, organized in partnership with the Fairview Cemetery Association, is intended to provide a unique opportunity to learn about local history while honoring those buried at the cemetery.
