Dorney Park has kicked off its 2026 Halloween season, bringing haunted mazes, scare zones, live entertainment and after-dark rides back to the Allentown amusement park.
Halloween Haunt opened Friday, Sept. 18, and will continue on select nights through Oct. 31. This year’s event features six haunted mazes, five scare zones, four live entertainment experiences and hundreds of monsters throughout the park.
During the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays, the park offers its family-oriented Tricks and Treats celebration, with trick-or-treating, activities, shows and other Halloween entertainment through Nov. 1.
“We have two different experiences that are happening here at Dorney Park,” Park Manager Kim Solis said. “The daytime it is no scares, and it’s a family-friendly event.”
After 6 p.m., Solis said the atmosphere changes as the park transitions into Halloween Haunt.
“All the monsters come out and all the scares are happening,” Solis said. “We have five different scare zones, and we have six haunted houses.”
Among the biggest additions for 2026 are a new haunted maze based on The Blair Witch Project and a new live production called The Conductor.
New Blair Witch maze brings guests into the Black Hills Forest
New for Halloween Haunt this year is Blair Witch: No Signal, a haunted maze inspired by The Blair Witch Project.
Guests enter the Black Hills Forest and travel through winding trails, eerie ritual sites and other environments inspired by the horror franchise, including the Rustin Parr House.
“You get to go through and have an immersive experience where you’re experiencing the movie in real life,” Solis said.
Guests interviewed as they exited the maze on opening weekend offered positive reactions to the new attraction, describing it as a blend of thrills and scares with an immersive theme.
Blair Witch: No Signal joins five returning haunted mazes: Blood on the Bayou, Roadside Stop & Chop, Trick or Treat, Necropolis and Ghost in the Machine.
Access to the haunted mazes requires a Haunted Attractions Pass in addition to park admission, a season pass or membership.
The Conductor debuts in the Steel Yard
Another new addition for 2026 is The Conductor, a live performance staged inside the McTavish Steel Yard.
The 12-minute production combines drumming and violin performances with staging and pyrotechnics. The show follows tortured spirits haunting a forgotten steel mill, led by an otherworldly violinist known as The Conductor.
Music featured in the production draws from recognizable songs spanning the past five decades, with percussion and violin used to bring the fictional haunted mill back to life.
Other entertainment during Halloween Haunt includes The Shrieks!, Skeleton Crew and the interactive Sink The Jerk experience.
Scare zones take over the park after dark
The scares aren’t limited to the mazes. Five themed scare zones are spread throughout Dorney Park, with roaming performers encountering guests along the park’s midways.
The 2026 lineup includes Dystopia, a post-apocalyptic setting; Port of Call, populated by pirate spirits; CarnEVIL, featuring freak show characters, performers and clowns; Midway Misfits, filled with shape-shifting creatures; and Steel Yard: Forge Your FeAR, themed around spirits haunting the Steel Yard.
Roller coasters and other attractions also continue operating after dark, with lighting, fog and nighttime conditions adding to the Haunt atmosphere throughout the park.
Family activities during Tricks and Treats
Before the scares begin, Tricks and Treats offers younger guests a daytime Halloween experience on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.
“The daytime it is no scares, and it’s a family-friendly event where you can trick-or-treat,” Solis said. “You can go through the park and have different activities like mask making and pumpkin decorating.”
Other activities include pedal cars, a foam pit, games and daytime shows.
The event provides families with a separate Halloween experience before the park transitions to Haunt in the evening.
Seasonal food and merchandise
Dorney Park has also introduced seasonal food, drinks and merchandise for its Halloween events.
Among the new offerings are dessert nachos, made with waffle cone chips, ice cream and toppings. Pumpkin spice soft serve, a s’mores milkshake, graveyard pudding parfait and other seasonal desserts are also available at locations throughout the park.
“Usually, you know, you have your chips and salsa and queso, but now it is waffle chips with ice cream and toppings,” Solis said of the dessert nachos.
The park is also offering a secret menu for season passholders at select restaurants for the first time, according to Solis.
“We have, for the first time ever, we have a secret menu for season pass holders, where they will have what the item is on their pass, and they get to request it at the area, and it would not be available for anyone else,” she said.
Halloween-themed cocktails, mocktails and drinks served in “blood bags” are available at several locations, with selections including Dragon’s Breath, Witches Brew, Black Magic, Vampire’s Kiss and Pixie Potion.
Solis said new Halloween merchandise is also available throughout the park, with gift shops carrying items connected to the haunted houses and scare zones.
Halloween Haunt is not recommended for children 13 and younger, according to the park. Costumes, makeup and Halloween masks are prohibited during Haunt, and flash photography, flashlights and other illuminating objects are not permitted inside the haunted attractions.
Halloween Haunt continues on select nights through Oct. 31, while Tricks and Treats runs Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.
