Approximately 50 residents were displaced Thursday night after a fire heavily damaged an apartment building at the Oak Forest Apartments complex in Muhlenberg Township.
Emergency crews were dispatched at around 8:53 p.m. to Building G at Oak Forest Apartments, 2271 Hampden Blvd., following reports of a fire and black smoke coming from an apartment unit.
As firefighters arrived, crews worked to clear residents from the structure while battling heavy fire conditions in the 200-foot-by-50-foot apartment building.

Authorities said no injuries were reported.
Approximately 50 residents were displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross was assisting those affected by the incident.
