Inspections are a “snapshot” of the day and time of the inspection. Violations are recorded but are often corrected on the spot prior to the inspector leaving the facility. On 5/22/2026, Saint Marco Society, located at 4945 Commerce St, Temple, PA 19560, was inspected and found with the following violation: Wooden handled utensils (knives) are not easily cleanable and are susceptible to cracks/crevices. Discarded upon inspection.
On 5/22/2026, Olivets, located at 1161 Pershing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611, was inspected and found with the following violation: The handwash sink located in the kitchen area does not have water at a temperature of at least 100°F. Refrigerators in the kitchen area, have water pooled in the bottom packaged food possibly subject to water entry.
On 5/23/2026, Taco Bell #5752, located at 402 Madison Ave, Reading, PA 19605, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food dispensing utensil in shredded cheese observed stored in the food and not with handle above the top of the food. Corrected on inspection. Walk-in freezer with excessive ice build-up. Freezer door unable to close properly due to ice build-up. Per manager on duty, work order submitted recently for same. Fan guards in walk-in refrigerator also dusty.
On 5/26/2026, Trout Run Acres, located at 1055 S Reading Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512, was inspected and found with the following violation: Prepackaged baked goods from Nae’s Nae’s food is not labeled to indicate any “Big 9” allergen ingredients did not have the weight in grams as well. Prepackaged baked goods from Nae’s Nae’s food is not labeled to indicate any “Big 9” allergen ingredient on the chocolate cake pops are missing soy as an allergen. Trout Run Acres Maple Syrup is not labeled properly with net weight in ounces and grams, distributed by statement and/or nutritional facts.
On 5/26/2026, Taco’s Rene, located at 1161 Park Rd, Blandon, PA 19510, was inspected and found with the following violation: Assorted foods were held at 78 °F, in the hot hold area, rather than 135°F or above as required. Hot hold table observed not working and were told to put the items in the cooler to keep cold and reheat on the grill when ordered. Correcting. The handwash sink in the mobile food truck area was blocked by a container of food and not accessible at all times for employee use. corrected.
On 5/26/2026, Sunny Bistro, located at 322 E Wyomissing Ave, Mohnton, PA 19540, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration at the 3-compartment sink and dishwasher.
On 5/26/2026, Maple Grove Pub & Grill, located at 2165 State St, Alburtis, PA 18011, was inspected and found with the following violation: Ice machine kick plate and nozzle holder for soda gun at the bar were observed to have organic residue and were not clean to sight and touch. Food employee observed in the cookline area, wearing bracelet / watch / ring on hands or arms. Corrected. Food employees observed in the cookline area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers.
On 5/26/2026, Lilli’s Ranch House, located at 2738 Penn Ave, Reading, PA 19609, was inspected and found with the following violation: Thermometer for ensuring proper temperature of equipment is not available or readily accessible in the small bain marie unit near the ice machine. Corrected. Light fixture above the slicer isn’t working. The handwash sink in the kitchen area was blocked by a fan and coffee pot and was not accessible at all times for employee use. Corrected. Mops are not being hung to air dry. Corrected.
On 5/26/2026, Dollar Tree Store #07056, located at 8472 Allentown Pike, Blandon, PA 19510, was inspected and found with the following violation: Four dented, distressed canned items observed in canned food aisle and intended for use or sale in the food facility. Corrected.
On 5/26/2026, Casa W Distillery, located at 1339 Penn Ave, Wyomissing, PA 19610, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food facility does not have the correct type of sanitizer test strips to check the concentration of the quaternary ammonia sanitizer.
On 5/27/2026, Mamas Famous Pizza Exeter, located at 35 W 47th St, Reading, PA 19606, was inspected and found with the following violation: Working container (spray bottle) in the dishwashing area, used for storing chemicals, cleaners taken from bulk supplies, was not marked with the common name of the chemical. Corrected.
On 5/27/2026, Hamburg Game Association Inc., located at 935 N 5th St, Hamburg, PA 19526, was inspected and found with the following violation: Soda gun holder at the bar, a food contact surface, was observed to have pink organic residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Corrected. Ice machine kick plate, a food contact surface, was observed to have organic slime residue and was not clean to sight and touch.
On 5/27/2026, BBQ & Eggacy, LLC at Leesport, located at Leesport Farmers Market, Leesport, PA 19533, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food was held at 57-59 °F, in the BBQ bain marie unit, rather than 41°F or below as required. A limited amount of food is being stored in this unit. Corrected by moving and icing products. Thermometers for ensuring proper temperature of equipment are not available or readily accessible in the Eggacy bain marie and the BBQ bain marie. Some prepackaged food items made in the facility are not labeled properly with the name of product, ingredient statement, and/or distributed by statement. The handwash sink in the BBQ area does not have single use towels. Corrected. Soap was not available at the handwash sink in the BBQ area. Corrected. No sign or poster posted at the handwash sink in the BBQ area to remind food employees to wash their hands.
On 5/28/2026, Bravo for Rose Catering, located at 3177 Morgantown Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. Observed deeply scored cutting boards not resurfaced or discarded as required. Corrected.
