CHOR Youth & Family Services will host its first-ever Goats & Floats community event on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jim Dietrich Park. The free family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together while raising awareness for youth and foster care services throughout the region.
The event will feature goat yoga provided by Swartz Farm, root beer floats, food trucks, children’s activities, bounce houses, a trackless train, games, and other family-friendly activities throughout the day.
“Goats & Floats is an opportunity for families to come together, enjoy a fun day in the community, and learn more about the support and services available for children and families throughout our region,” said Jen Mongi, Senior Director of Programs at CHOR Youth & Family Services. “Events like this help strengthen community connections while also bringing awareness to the importance of supporting local youth and foster care services.”
CHOR Youth & Family Services provides foster care, behavioral health, residential, and community-based services for youth and families across Pennsylvania.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
