Muhlenberg Township Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a stabbing that occurred Thursday evening in the 2100 block of Kutztown Road.
Officers responded to the area on July 17 and encountered a large group of people fighting in the street and on the sidewalk. According to police, the altercation involved bladed and baton-type weapons. One adult male was found with multiple stab wounds to his torso and a head laceration. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Detectives are continuing to interview witnesses and gather evidence from the scene, and are working to identify all individuals involved in the incident. They are asking anyone who may have seen the altercation or has relevant information to come forward.
