A Powerball ticket purchased online by a player in Berks County has won $150,000 in the Pennsylvania Lottery’s June 14 drawing, lottery officials announced.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn — 4, 6, 9, 23, and 59 — as well as the red Powerball number 25. The player had added the $1 Power Play option, which tripled the base prize of $50,000 to $150,000 thanks to a 3X multiplier drawn that evening.
The identity of the winner has not been released, as the Pennsylvania Lottery does not confirm winners until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Online ticket purchases are automatically credited to players’ accounts after the claim is processed.
More than 25,800 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes in the June 14 drawing, including over 5,100 with Power Play and more than 2,600 with Double Play. Players are reminded to check all tickets carefully.
Powerball tickets are available for purchase online or in person at lottery retailers across the state. For more information or to file a claim, players can visit palottery.com.
