Tec Centro Berks has announced the appointment of a new Executive Committee to lead the organization in its continued mission to expand workforce and educational opportunities for Latino and underserved communities in Berks County.
The new leadership team includes individuals with broad experience in finance, human resources, public service, and community development.
Jonathan Encarnacion has been named Board Chair. Encarnacion is the Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer at Community First Fund Federal Credit Union and has previously held leadership roles at UPMC Health Plan. He also serves as chair of the Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation, Tec Centro Berks’ parent organization, and is a former appointee to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs.
Joining him in leadership roles are Dayana Groff as Vice Chair, David Myers as Treasurer, and Eddit Marmolejos-Gil as Secretary.
Groff, an HR Business Partner at Alpek Polyester USA, brings experience in creating inclusive workforce programs within the manufacturing sector. Myers, a Senior Fellow at the Berks County Community Foundation, previously led the Berks Alliance and has held senior roles in both state government and higher education. Marmolejos-Gil is a licensed architect and Design Technician at Muhlenberg Greene Architects. She also serves on several local boards, including the City of Reading’s Equal Business Opportunities Board.

Tec Centro Berks, a program of the Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation and a member of the Tec Centro Workforce Network, offers bilingual career training, adult education, and support services. The organization aims to remove language and financial barriers to employment, serving as a key resource for economic mobility in the region.
