Day of Caring is an annual community-wide volunteer event taking place on September 16th, 2026, at various local nonprofits and other locations throughout Berks and Reading. It brings together large and small groups, along with individuals, to create lasting change in our community by helping others. Whether you are interested in working with an organization’s clients, doing hands-on work like maintenance, gardening, or painting, or sorting items to help people in need, there is a project for you!
