Pennsylvania American Water crews are responding to a water main break in the Wyomissing Hills neighborhood.
A controlled shutdown of the water system was completed while crews make repairs. Officials say there is currently no boil water advisory associated with the service interruption.
Valley Road is closed between Mayfair and Lawndale while repairs are underway. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and give crews room to work.
An update is expected once repairs are complete and water service has been restored.
