Via Bern Township Police: Jahmirah Douglas, of Philadelphia PA, was recently taken into custody for passing approximately $2,400 in counterfeit $100 bills at a local pharmacy in Bern Township on January 3, 2026.
Douglas and another female used the counterfeit currency to complete multiple prepaid-card reload transactions. Douglas was identified through store surveillance, the identification presented during the transactions, and a photographic lineup.
On September 1, 2026, Douglas waived her preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Strand. The charges will now proceed to the Berks County Court of Common Pleas.
