Reading police and EMS responded to the intersection of 5th & Washington Streets Saturday evening for the report of a shooting, initially described as multiple callers stating a male was shot, and taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Police closed the sidewalk to investigate. This post will be updated when we receive additional information from authorities.
