Fleetwood Borough and Richmond Township were hit hard by Thursday afternoon’s severe thunderstorm. The storm brought high winds, heavy rain, and pea-sized hail, knocking down multiple trees and power lines across the area. A fallen tree on the railroad tracks stopped a freight train, forcing all railroad crossings in Fleetwood to close. Flooding and widespread debris have impacted several roadways. Crews are working to clear the damage.
