Reading Police are offering a limited supply of free steering wheel locks to community members on a first-come, first-served basis.
Locks are available at the Reading Police Department, 815 Washington St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents should see the desk sergeant upon arrival.
Police are also reminding drivers not to leave running vehicles unlocked or unattended with the keys inside while warming them up during colder weather.
