Reading Police and EMS responded to the 1200 block of Douglass Street Thursday afternoon for the report of a shooting, initially described as an assault with the victim stating he was shot in the leg. One person was transported to the hospital.
Update: According to Reading police, an adult male was shot in the leg. The injury is non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.
