Reading Police responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of Hoskins Place around 6:06 p.m. Wednesday. According to dispatch, a 15-year-old was shot in the leg and one person was transported to the hospital.
Reading Police confirmed officers located one victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. No further details have been released at this time.
Update: According to RPD Thursday morning, the shooting was accidental and self inflicted.
