Reading Police and EMS were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to the area of North Front and Exeter streets in Reading following a serious crash involving a vehicle and a utility pole.
According to initial reports, the vehicle struck a pole with enough force to snap it in half and overturn the car, which was split into two pieces.
Despite the severity of the crash, both occupants were able to get out of the vehicle on their own and walked away with only minor injuries after being evaluated by EMS.
