Reading Police and EMS responded to the report of a stabbing at the Dollar Tree in Reading (Rockland Street location) Saturday morning around 10:25 AM, initially described to be an employee stabbed twice by a customer, who fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital, condition unknown. This post will be updated as more information becomes available from authorities.
Update: Reading Police have confirmed the victim was a female employee at the location. She sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. RPD says they are actively investigating and will provide more information once available.
