Reading set a new daily record high temperature for March 10, reaching 83 degrees Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.
The temperature broke the previous March 10 record of 79 degrees, which was set in 2016.
Tuesday also marked the fourth-earliest 80-degree day on record for the Reading area. The earliest occurred on Feb. 21, 2018, when the high reached 82 degrees.
Temperature records for the Reading area date back to January 1888.
