A water main break on the 500 block of Lancaster Avenue is affecting residents in Reading’s 18th Ward and Kenhorst Borough. Due to a loss of water pressure, a boil water advisory is now in place for the surrounding area.
According to the Reading Area Water Authority, residents will receive a second notice once testing is complete and the advisory is lifted. Crews are currently on-site working to repair the leak.
