PennDOT District 5 has announced several road projects scheduled for the week of September 8–12, 2025. Motorists should expect delays and use caution while traveling through the affected areas.
In Bern Township, pothole patching will take place on PA 183 between the Schuylkill County line and West Leesport Road. Lane restrictions with flagging will be in effect in both directions from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
On the PA 737 ramp at Interstate 78, maintenance crews will perform work that will restrict ramp access between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Delays are expected during this time.
In Longswamp Township, Centennial Road between State Street and Mary Ann Road will be closed for drainage work. A detour will be in place while crews complete the project, with work scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.
All work is weather dependent and may be delayed by rain. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
