The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Berks County until 9:30 PM. At 8:46 PM, a severe thunderstorm was located over Glenmoore, or 13 miles east of New Holland, moving northeast at 40 mph.
60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include Boyertown, New Morgan, Bechtelsville. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
