All schools in the Schuylkill Valley School District will be closed Tuesday, officials announced in an email to parents Tuesday morning:
“This morning we received information from the police on threat that was posted to snapchat. We have limited information at this time. We will provide additional information as we receive it. We will be canceling school today in all schools for students and staff. We apologize for the brevity of this email, but received this notice late and needed to get information to our bus company and to parents as quickly as possible.”
