The Borough of Wyomissing's Parks & Recreation Department is hosting the Fall Walk Series, a perfect blend of autumn’s seasonal beauty and local history. As the vibrant colors of fall sweep through the Parklands, we invite residents and visitors alike to experience a journey that celebrates nature and the rich heritage of our community.
This year’s walks offer not only stunning views of the Parklands in their autumnal splendor but also educational insights into Wyomissing’s historic landmarks and hidden treasures. Along the way, participants will have the chance to explore points of interest like the echoing "Old Man Echo," the former site of Lutz's Farm, Rieth’s Gristmill, and other significant locations that have shaped the borough’s past.
Mark your calendars for three scenic Sunday morning walks: Sunday, September 29th. Sunday, October 13th. Sunday, November 10th.
Registration Details: With ongoing construction at the Stone House and Lawn area, registration will be held at the Goodman Barn, located just off Old Wyomissing Road in the Parklands. Registration is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on each walk day.
